We start by meeting onsite to see your space, listen carefully to your vision, and understand what matters most to you. We ask thoughtful questions to uncover every objective so we can design a renovation that truly reflects your goals.
2. Design
Within two weeks, we prepare your dream proposal—complete with design concepts, options, potential constraints, anticipated challenges, a preliminary schedule, and an initial budget. This gives you a clear picture of what your better future could look like.
3. Decide
You review the pre-construction dream, approve the direction, and secure your project with a 20% deposit. This commitment allows us to begin design development, order materials, and lock in scheduling so your project stays on track.
4. Deliver
From there, we bring your dream to life. We meet weekly to review design progress, approve material selections, and finalize the scope of work and final price. Once construction begins, our craftsmen maintain consistent progress every day. You’ll receive weekly reports, on-site meetings, and regular updates—so you always know exactly where things stand.
5. Delight
At completion, we walk through your finished space together and celebrate the transformation. What was once your dream is now your reality—a home designed around your life, built with confidence, and ready to create new memories.

Simple: If we miss the agreed-upon completion date (outside of weather or scope changes), we pay you $10,000. That’s how serious we are about honoring your time.
Lou brings 25 years of comprehensive construction experience across complex, fast-track projects in aviation, heavy civil, educational, and building sectors.
He began his career after earning a degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in History from Virginia Tech, then moved to Washington, DC, where he worked as a superintendent renovating historic buildings. Inspired by his father and grandfather’s entrepreneurial paths, Lou pursued his MBA at Stanford University, graduating in 2011.
From there, he led his family’s construction company in Texas, expanding it from 20 to 200 employees and surpassing $80 million in annual revenue. In 2018, he left the family business and relocated to North Idaho—drawn by the freedom and natural beauty of the region, as well as his desire to chart his own path.
That same year, he founded BluBird Renovations (formerly CoyotePak Construction) with a vision to reimagine remodeling by putting clients first, delivering on promises, and making the renovation experience as rewarding as the finished product.
Lou and his wife now live between Naples and Sandpoint, raising six children and split their time between mountain adventures and days on the lake. For Lou and his family, more kids truly means more happiness.
